Visit from Mom
My mom came to visit from Florida for a week after Christmas and we had a great time. She stayed with Colin and I which was great because I had an instant cook, maid, decorator, exercise partner and someone to keep me company while Colin was at work. Kacy stayed over a lot too which was especially fun! We went to Temple Square to see temple lights, baked cookies, cinnamon rolls, did crafts, shopped a ton ( Costco, Quilted Bear, BYU bookstore, Deseret Book, Park City Outlets, Target), went and saw Lend Me a Tenor at the Hale Theater on New Year's Eve, had a pizza/ice cream sundae party with the whole fam and hung out. Kacy and I even convinced my mom to buy Twilight and she read it all in one day! Colin and I had to work at 7am New Year's Day and it was so nice to walk into our home after our shift with the aroma of homemade chicken noodle soup cooking on the stove and homemade biscuits in the oven. There is no one quite like your mom to spoil you, we all need from time to time.

Sounds like such a great week. There is definitely nothing like having mom come to visit.
I'm glad you had so much fun with your mom. There's nothing like being taken care of by mom for a week!
I just read Em's comment and it sounds identical to mine. Weird.
