Our First Home

It's official, we are homeowners! We drove up to our home in Heber City yesterday for the first time with the house being ours. We have come along way from our tiny basement apartment that had carpet in the kitchen (gross) and the bathroom (grosser) that we lived in our first year of marriage. It is a little unreal still but over time it will begin to feel more and more of our home as we get settled. It was great to start cleaning and putting some of our stuff away. The first pieces of furniture in our new home are the 2 lovesacs down in the basement! We are still staying at my dad's until after the holidays because we want time to paint and fix up things slowly but we will be up there often trying to get everything in order for moving day.
