5 years
On Friday we celebrated our 5 year anniversary. We stayed the night at a bed and breakfast in Logan, UT. We ate lots, browsed some antiques stores and candy shops, drove around the town, sat in front of the Logan temple and talked while enjoying the view, watched a movie in our room while laying in bed eating popcorn, went canoeing and just enjoyed being alone with each other. It was wonderful. The last 5 years we have had some amazing times and we have grown so much as a couple and individuals.
There is a song by Miranda Lambert called "The House that Built Me". It is about a girl going back to the house she grew up in and asking the new owmers if she can take a look inside. There is one verse that says "nail by nail and board by board, daddy brought life to mama's dreams". I love that song and it summarizes my husband. He has brought life to all of my dreams from helping me through school, to doing all my little projects in the house and most importantly giving me our family. I love Colin, he is so supportive, attentive and kind. He is truly my best friend and companion.

Sounds like a fun anniversary, Mand!
Sounds like a great husband!
Happy Anniversary! Sounds so nice and relaxing. For our 5 year anniversary I will be hard at work on wedding flowers for Brad who gets married the next day. Not what I thought I'd be doing on my 5 year anniversary!
