Thomas Family Campout (first, will it be the last...)

Colin and I ventured into the great outdoors last weekend for our first camping experience together as our little family! We went to Butterfly Lake up in the Uinta Mountains, it was beautiful! Except the first night when I discovered my sleeping pad had a hole in it in the middle of the night, waking up with a full bladder and too scared to go outside by myself then having to wake Colin up from a deep sleep (which didn't help) to escort me to mother nature's restrooms, we Thomas's did okay. Our trip was complete with the presence of Tari and Mindy! We were also pleased to have Kacy and her friend Ros join us on the second night making Colin the only boy with 5 laughing, singing girls. He is a good man. We missed Em and Mel at night while singing in our tents wishing their beautiful voices could have lulled us to sleep. It was a great trip complete with campfires, smores, bugs spray, scary stories (thanks Mind), port-a-potties, Dominos, naps, canoing on the lake and of course Doritos! Colin and I are already planning next years trip...
