Eliza's 1st Christmas

Eliza's 1st Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve Colin & I took Eliza to the Hogle Zoo Lights to see Santa and his reindeer. The lights were great and we want to go back next year when Eliza will appreciate the lights more. After the zoo lights we spent Christmas Eve at Colin's parent's house with his family. We had dinner, made gingerbread houses, sang songs, opened some presents and read the Christmas story by the fire.
1st Santa picture (not the most authentic Santa I've ever seen, oh well, there is always next year)
She didn't cry but she was really curious who this person was

Eliza's 1st Christmas
On Christmas morning (beautiful snow, ice on the trees and windows and fog) Colin's family - mom, dad, brothers and great grandpa Bill and great grandma Eunice, my mom & Sal and enjoyed Christmas at our house. I woke up really early to make homemade cinnamon rolls, breakfast casserole, waffles and lots of fresh fruit. We had a feast and opened presents. Santa brought Eliza her 1st purse, kitchen and baby doll stroller. I think she loved the boxes they came in more than the presents themselves. She got lots of loot from everyone else. Colin's parents gave us a blu-ray dvd player which is great! We have already watched several movies using it and it is a huge step-up from our very old dvd player. My dad got us season tickets to the Hale Theater in Orem which we love! We love going to their shows and are never disappointed. This is great because it is a guarantee 6 date nights a year. We can't wait. Our best gift though is our adorable Eliza, we are so glad she is in our family! She brings joy to everyone.
I love this picture of our whole family on Christmas morning even though it is blurry. Colin and I had color coordinated pj's!
