Its been a long week+
So it has been a long week and then some. It started off Monday when I was screening for a new CF medicine. It was the second time that I failed the screening. The screening requires my lung function to be above 75% and I was in the low to mid 60's. Plus generally feeling tired meant it was time to come into the hospital for a clean out. In preparation to come in we had a bit to do around the house and Mandy had to work Wednesday night shift. The picture below is of Jonas and I trying to get comfortable late in the night....
...as you can kind of see Jonas is comfortable but I can't sleep....it's hard to sleep without Mandy around.
...Speaking of Mandy not being around this is a pic of my 4th night in the hospital, and of course I am not getting much sleep. I have to fingers up to signify that it is 2 AM and I am still awake.
But Mandy is the real trooper. She not only had to work the night shift Wednesday, but she only got 2 hours of sleep on Thursday before I had to wake her to come to the hospital to be admitted. Then she had to travel back and forth to Heber, work a 12 hr shift on Sat, see me for a few minutes, go back to Heber, sleep a little that night, clean the whole house, pick up the dog's mess in the yard, bake a cake for birthday dinner at her Dad's for Sunday night. Then work 12 days on Monday and Tuesday, all while juggling getting sitters for Jonas (Thanks KC, Lissy, FSIL, Mom, Dad and Spencer). It's always hardest on her when I'm in here, she's the one that holds everything together and I couldn't do it without her. I love you so much Mandy, thanks for being so supportive and strong every day.
