2 years old!
Eliza had her golden birthday - turning 2 on the 2nd! I am a sucker for themed birthday parties so this year we went with the GOLD theme. Eliza wore a gold tutu, we had a gold cake and her presents were wrapped in gold. All of her grandparents came (even her great grandpa Bill) and her cousin Faith.
Her favorite present was the mechanical dog (that walks and barks) from my mom. We captured a picture of her pure delight when she saw it - so cute!
She also loved her baby Rapunzel doll (golden hair, haha!) and ever since she has been enamored with the story Rapunzel and the occasional clips from Tangled that we let her watch. She talks about the mean witch who cut off Rapunzel's hair and how she was scared. She always says "Rapunzel, let down your hair", "no more hair"(referring to the witch cutting off her hair).
